This 3 day guided Six Foot Track Walk starts near Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. Winding through State forests and National parks, the 6 Foot Track follows the 44 kilometre route of the original 1884 horse track, taking in heritage sites, heath, woodlands, and rainforest. Passing cascading waterfalls and wild rivers into the Megalong Valley, before crossing a unique swing bridge, climbing the range, and arriving at Jenolan Caves.
Due to the remoteness of this area, spend one night at the Six Foot Track Bushwalkers Eco Lodge and one night in a Grand Classic room with en-suite at the Jenolan Caves House. A wonderful place to enjoy a good night’s sleep and a hot shower after a day’s walk.
Where possible we source the majority of our foods from this region including fabulous wine, locally produced cereals and meats. Once at Jenolan Caves you will enjoy dinner in the charming Chisholm’s Restaurant featuring modern cuisine served with white and red wines.
This is a fully supported walk, you only need to carry a light day pack.
